The Bottlebrush Tree thrives in full sun and has a characteristic red bloom in late winter, early spring, late spring and early summer.  There are no toxicity dangers to pets or humans from any part of this tree.  The Bottlebrush Tree is attractive to both birds and butterflies, and tolerates drought.  It requires soil that is either neutral or mildly alkaline/acidic (Soil alkalinity ranging anywhere from 6.1 to 7.8 is fine).
