Copernica Palm

The Copernica Palm tree (Copernica Cerifera) is also referred to as the Tree of Life. It is a slow-growing Carnauba palm that reaches an average height of 25-35 feet and is most often found along river banks streams and damp lowlands. The Copernica Palm exudes wax through the petioles of its fan-shaped leaves preventing dehydration. When gathered, this was is used to produce "Carnaouba Wax".
