Let's Grow Nursery Plant and Tree Varieties
Society garlic is a perennial with thin, grayish green leaves and clusters of lilac, rose, lavender or white colored flowers. Society Garlic emits a smell of garlic when bruised or rubbed against. It has four to nine slender grassy looking leaves approximately half an inch long and twelve inches long growing out of an underground bulb-like rhizome. Unlike the rest of the plant, the single stalk produces approximately 20 hyacinth sweet smelling flowers.
Very drought tolerant, the Society Garlic much prefers full sun, but will tolerate partial shade, and requires low to moderate watering with and decent amount of mulch around its base.
